PU announced counseling/interview schedule for UIHTM

Chandigarh, June 11, 2015: Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh has on Wednesday announced the counseling/interview schedule for University Institute of Hotel and Tourism Management (UIHTM), PU Chandigarh. UIHTM is offering education, training, research and consultancy in the field of hospitality, tourism, travel and allied sectors.

The Counseling for B.Sc. in Hospitality in Hotel Administration and B.Sc.in Tourism Management would be conducted on June 22 at UIHTM, near ICSSR Complex, Sector 14, PU Campus. There are 60 seats in Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) and 30 seats in Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management (BTTM). There would be one additional seat each for only (single) girl child, cancer/AIDS patient, wards of Kashmiri displaced persons and wards of Kargil war.

First Counseling for qualified candidates would be conducted June 22. Reporting time for qualified candidates having PUTHAT rank of 1 to 50 is at 9 AM of June 22, while for candidates having rank 51 to 100, the reporting time is 11 AM on the same day.

Candidates having rank from 101 and above have been asked to appear at 3 PM on June 22.

PU Spokesman informed that the candidates are required to appear personally for the counseling. They should bring all the original certificates/documents at the time of interview/counseling. Attested photocopies of the certificates must have to be deposited at the time of counseling. In case there is a gap in their academic year, the candidates are required to furnish an affidavit to the effect that they have not been involved in an offence/unlawful activities during the gap year.
