PTU Main Campus Conducts Entrance Exam on July 2, 2017

Jalandhar May 21, 2017: I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University Main Campus, Kapurthala conducts its own entrance exam on July 2, 2017 for admission to 5 courses having 160 seats in total. The departments of Management, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Journalism & Mass Communication will be conducting an Entrance exam due to the sudden rush and competition amongst students wanting admission at Main Campus of the University. There are 60 seats in MBA and 25 each in M. Sc. Physics, Chemistry, Maths and M. A. Mass Communication.

The Spokesperson of University said that the prime focus is on recruiting quality students and the University will leave no stone unturned in doing so. He further added that all faculty members are PhD holders with good experience and background and the quality of teaching will be at par with other Universities of repute in the country.

IKG PTU recently spent INR 250 crores on building infrastructure and setting up classes, laboratories, library and other infrastructure. The University has separate hostel for boys and girls; sporting facilities, bus service, free internet facility and much more. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria laid down by the University may apply online on the admissions website. The website is user friendly and will enable students to submit their applications with ease.

Submission of applications begins on May 24, 2017 and the last date to submit applications is June 30, 2017. The entrance test will be conducted at CB III building of IKGPTU Main Campus on Kapurthala-Jalandhar Highway on July 2, 2017. Reporting time is 9:00am.
