Proximity attendance recorder system to be operational in both secretariats soon

Chandigarh, December 1, 2014: Punjab Government is all set to make operational ’ Proximity Attendance Recorder system’ in Punjab Civil Secretariat I & II to enforce punctuality amongst the staff.
According to an official spokesperson all officers/employees working in Punjab Civil Secretariat I & II and officers/ employees routinely visiting the secretariats have been issued special Proximity Attendance Recorder touch entry cards under the system. The spokesperson said that all officers/employees have already been issued these cards and the employees who have not collected these cards have been advised to collect new entry cards at the earliest.
The spokesperson said that under the system each officer/employee would be touching the card on the recorder machine installed at each gate and attendance time of employee would be recorded in the centralised computer to keep a tab on punctuality and timing of employees.
Instruction in this regards issued to all officer/employees working in Punjab Civil Secretariat I & II.
