Badish Kumar Jindal elected as FASII national president
Ludhiana, October 1, 2012: The 50th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Federation of Associations of Small Industries of India(FASII) was held on the 29th and 30th September, at FASII Head Office in New Delhi.
At the AGM Badish Kumar Jindal, a Ludhiana -based entrepreneur, was unanimously elected as the National President of FASII.
Jindal is associated with the micro and small enterprises movement for the last one and a half decades. 
Among FASII Presidents, Jindal is the youngest National President,  aged 40 FASII had ever elected.  Jindal is well versed in all subjects such as Direct and Indirect taxes, Finance and Credit, Quality and Standards, Imports and Exports.
 At the same meeting KV Sekhar Raju, an entrepreneur from Bangalore was elected as National Senior Vice President.   
AK Shiralkar from Pune was elected as National Hony. General Secretary and Saileswar Panda from Kolkata was elected as National Hony. Treasurer.  Other Regional Office Bearers were also elected at the said AGM. 
As regards Northern Region, Narinder K. Miglani, Arvind Rai and Sumit Jain, all the three Ludhiana based entrepreneurs were elected as Regional Vice President, Regional Hony. Secretary  and Regional Hony. Treasurer, respectively.
Naresh Aggarwal was elected as the Chairman of Punjab Chapter of FASII.
Giving this information, S. Pandiaraj, Executive Secretary of the federation, said FASII is the apex body of Micro and Small Enterprises in the country. FASII was ushered into existence in the year 1959 at the instance of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and the Building of FASII was inaugurated by Dr. Radhakrishnan, the then President of India.  In view of its densed membership base, the Federation is given representation in all the Councils and Committees of the Union and State Governments. FASII is having its central office at New Delhi and Regional and state offices in various parts of the country.
