Patient Mrs.Rekha, (Patient No.C-7835407) 38 years old lady is admitted in the Christian Medical College (CMC) & Hospital, Ludhiana from 28.07.18 with the diagnosis of perforation peritonitis (When a ulcer in the stomach bursts it leaks the contents into the abdomen leading toserious condition).

Rekha underwent emergency surgery for the perforation. On 2ndpost-operative day she had a heart attack following which cardio pulmonary resuscitationwas done and she was revived.Currently she is in ICU on ventilatory supports and needs dialysis on day to day basis due to acutekidney failure. She will further require 7-10 days of hospital stay.

Rekhabelongs to a very poor family, has 2 children aged 16 years and 12 years and her husband works as a labourer. Her up-to–date bill is approx. Rs. 3 lakhs, out of whichRs. 1, 05,000/- they have paid by taking loans.

This is an open appeal to all the generous citizens to come forward and kindly consider donating for the benefit of the patient.
