Prepare master plan of Central University within 15 days: Anurag Thakur

Dharamshala, August 30, 2019: Union Minister of State for Finance Anurag Thakur said that guidelines have been given to prepare a master plan for the construction of the Central University and it has been asked to send a report within the next 15 days to construct the campus in Dehra and Dharamshala of the Central University, so that an amount close to Rs.350 crore can be sanctioned.
He said, “The Gagal Airport of Dharamshala will also be expanded. Gagal Airport will be developed as the largest airport in the state and this will also promote tourism.” He was speaking on arrival from Delhi at Gaggal airport on Thursday.
On the issue of railway expansion in Himachal, MOS Finance, Anurag Thakur said that the projects currently underway for the construction of rail lines will be completed first and only after that new projects will be started. He said that the construction work of Nangal-Una-Talwara railway line is going on, while 20- Kms of land has been acquired for Bilaspur-Bhanupalli railway line.
Anurag Thakur said that the country's economy is growing rapidly and inflation has also been reduced. He said that financial schemes are being prepared to benefit all sections of society. He said that after assuming power for the second time, the Central Government has taken several decisions in the interest of the country, one of which is abolition of three divorces system and it has been decided to remove Sections 370 and 35A. He said that peace and law &order in Jammu and Kashmir has been maintained.
Earlier, Anurag Thakur was greeted with warmth when he reached Gagal Airport.
On this occasion, former minister Ravinder Singh Ravi, former MLA Sanjay Chaudhary, BJP's Dehra district president Naresh Chauhan, Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Kumar Prajapati, Superintendent of Police Vimukt Ranjan, SDM Jwalamukhi Akush Sharma, DSP Dehra Lalman and officials of various departments were present.
