Pranoti Pradhan’s entry to bring a twist on Sony SAB’s Super Sisters

Sony SAB’s show Super Sisters has been successful in making viewers happy with its unique mix of drama, magic and comedy. The show has been garnering blessings across cities with its appealing narrative and significant characters. In the upcoming episodes, Mini Mami’s (Manini De Mishra) younger sister Chitralekha Mausi, portrayed by the veteran actor Pranoti Pradhan, visits them in Gurgaon. She is in her late thirties, single and has been living in Gujarat since years. She aspires to behave like the elite, and wants to learn it from Mini Mami. Chitralekha Mausi is a precarious mix of quirky, loud and obnoxious. Pranoti Pradhan has been part of theatre and television for over 15 years. As Chitralekha, she will be seen creating hurdles for Shivani (Vaishali Takkar) and Siddhi (Muskan Bamne) during her stay. Speaking about her appearance on Sony SAB’s Super Sisters Pranoti Pradhan said, “When I heard the character brief, I was already in love with Chitralekha Mausi. She’s so relatable that I could imagine myself playing the role at that very moment. I am just grateful to Sony SAB and Optimystix Ltd. to have thought of me for this role.
