Power Supply of 66 KV grid S/S Ghalib gets affected

Ludhiana, June 20, 2017: Er.Narinder Pal singh Boparai, Chief engineer central zone Ludhiana, Punjab State Power Corporation Limited informed that one of the towers of 66 KV Ajitwal- Ghalib line feeding 66 KV Grid S/S Ghalib fell down due to heavy winds on June 19 at around 7PM. Exact location of the tower is near village Killi Chahlaan close to Ajitwal. Supply of 66 KV grid S/S Ghalib was affected. However, the power supply to the affected grid has been restored from 220 KV S/S Jagraon by isolating the affected part of the line.
