Talwandi Sabo, November 3, 2014: Guru Gobind Singh College of Education, Talwandi Sabo organised poster making and speech competitions to Mark National Integration Day. The whole programme was conducted under the guidance of M.D Sukhraj Singh Sidhu.
Dr. N.S.Malhi, VC, Guru Kashi University & Registrar Satish Goswami appeared as Chief Guests in the programme. Dr. Malhi stated in his address that youth is the real wealth of any nation and the directional approach of the youth can take the nation to the heights of development.
Dr. A.K. Kansal Principal of the college said while judging the performance of the students that these students are the future teachers and will write the future of the nation in golden words. He further added that such co-curricular activities also develop the overall personality of the students along with the educational content. The programme was thickly attended by the staff and students.
In poster making competition Gurpreet Kaur declared First & in speech competition Karamjeet Kaur , Pankaj Raj and Veerpal Kaur stood First, Second and third respectively.
Amarjot Kaur and Madam Mandeep Kaur coordinated the whole programme effectively.
