POST DEMONETISATION, UNION GOVERNMENT COMMITTED TO REDUCE PROBLEMS OF AAM AADMI: ARJUN RAM MEGHWAL

Ludhiana, December 22, 2016: Union Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs Mr Arjun Ram Meghwal today said that post demonetisation, the Union government is committed to reduce the problems of the Aam Aadmi. He said that the Union government is keeping a close watch on the entire situation and claimed that things are getting normalized with each passing day. He said that ample number of currency notes of Rs 500 and Rs 100 denomination have been put into use and in next few days, things would get normalized completely.
Mr Meghwal was visiting the city to attend a function organised by a news magazine named “Chanakya Varta” at PU Extension Library, here today. While speaking to media persons on the occasion, Mr Meghwal said that the Union government is keeping a close watch on the entire situation and that the things are getting normalized with each passing day. He said that even the lines outside the ATMs and Banks are getting smaller and very soon, things would normalize completely.
He said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s statements on this matter are childish in nature. He claimed that only the corrupt are making a hue and cry over demonetization, whereas the common man understands its importance. He said that people should keep full faith in the Union government and they would themselves see a lot of difference in things improving in next few days time.
Later, while speaking on the occasion, Mr Arjun Ram Meghwal said that all of us should contribute in nation building. He urged the students present on the occasion to identify their internal strengths and weaknesses, take care of the opportunities and remain aware of all kinds of threats around us.
