Drishtii Grewal is a Punjabi model and an actress who was born and raised in Ludhiana, Punjab. She started her career five years ago. She has appeared in the Punjabi movies like ‘Romeo Ranjha’ in 2014, ‘Mitti Na Pharol Jogiya’ in 2015, ‘Hard Kaur’ in 2017, Hankar in 2018 and in recently released Punjabi film Muklawa. Also she is busy with her upcoming Hollywood project. she has bagged the lead role in the English flick 'Barefoot Warriors'.
Barefoort warriors is directed by Kavi Raz, the same director who made Satinder Sartaaj starrer “The Black Prince” in 2017.
Drishti Grewal won the Best Critics (female) Actor Award in Heritage Punjabi International Film Festival Melbourne and PTC Punjabi Award.
About the film Muklawa she said, Muklawa is a unique romantic movie which not only depicts the innocence and trust in love, but also shows the way of living of Punjabis in the old times.” This film introduce the punjabi rich culture and heritage to young generation.
Movie based on two sisters and two brothers. I will portraying the role of an innocent village Girl channo elder sister of Sonam Bajwa who portraying the role of Taaro. Both are sister in this movie. This film is produced by Gunbir Singh Sidhu and Manmorad Sidhu of White Hill Studios, who have made movies such as Jatt and Juliet 1 and 2, Punjab 1984, Sardaar Ji, Sardar Ji 2, Channa Mereya, Carry on Jatta 2. Directed by Simarjeet Singh, the story is written by Opinder Waraich.
Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa are lead actors. Gurpreet Ghuggi, BN Sharma, Karamjeet Anmol, Nirmal Rishi, Gurpreet Bhangu, Sarabjeet Cheema are supporting cast.
