Ludhiana, November 8, 2017: It has been 2 days, since the electricity being supplied to the industry in focal points of Ludhiana is in very poor condition, more than 10 tripping per day are being observed in focal point, which is a huge loss to the industry, as electricity is one of the major raw material to the industry. Also the power can’t be stored.
S.Gurmeet Singh Kular President FICO, has discussed the concern with S.Paramjit Singh Chief Engineer, Central Zone PSPCL, to which S.Paramjit Singh said that the poor condition of electricity supply is due to the Foggy Weather. S.Gurmeet Singh Kular demanded the better quality of Power Supply to the industry, which is already suffering from losses.
Also S. Gurmeet Singh Kular said as Government of Punjab announced that Power Supply to the industry @ Rs.5/- per unit from 1St November, 2017, but there is not any notification regarding the same till date.
Amongst Present were S. Gurmeet Singh Kular President, Sh. Vipan Mittal Sr. Vice President, S. Balbir Singh Mankoo Finance Secretary FICO in a meeting held at Focal Point, Ludhiana.
