Police register rape case

Ferozepur, September 8, 2012: On the statement of a young girl, the Ferozepur City police have registered a rape case against youth under sections 376, 450, 323 and 506 IPC.

Giving this information, Ferozeur City police station ASI Amarjit Singh informed that as per the statement given to the police, a 27- year-old woman has alleged that she was married to a boy in Ferozepur City, in 1998 but due to certain difference, a mutual divorce was taken.  

Later on, this girl met Rajesh and they started living without any formal marriage.  According to the complainant, she could not continue with Rajesh also and both discontinued their association. 

On September 2, 2012, when she was all alone at home, Rajesh entered her house and forcibly raped her, the complainant alleged in her complaint to the police.
