Ferozepur, October 10, 2017: The police has arrested one person and recovered fake currency of Rs.1 lakh and a colored printer from him. Giving details Ajmer Singh, SP (D) said that following the secret inputs, the CI Wing of Ferozepur police has arrested one Dalbir Singh alias Bittu, a resident of Sri Muktsar Sahib.
The SP (D) said that the police had already booked Dalbir under Sections 489-A, 489-B, 489-C at Kulgarhi police station (case number 149 dated October 3, 2017). The accused was arrested today.
He added that Dalbir was a part of the gang involved in printing fake currency. He said that another the accused in this case identified as Gurbaj Singh is somehow eluding the police but very soon he will also be landed into police net.
