Pleasant Monday morning in Delhi

New Delhi, July 14 (IANS) It was a pleasant Monday morning here with a minimum temperature of 25.9 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.

The Met Office has forecast spells of rain in the day.

"The day will become partly cloudy with rain, thundershower in some parts of the city," said an India Meteorological Department official.

The day's maximum temperature is likely to hover around 36 degrees Celsius.

The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 79 percent.

Sunday's maximum temperature was 40.2 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was 27 degrees Celsius.
