PHD Chamber organises session on "Doing Business with Argentina & Trade Investment Opportunities"

Ludhiana, December 16, 2014: PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry on Tuesday organised a session on "Doing Business with Argentina & Trade Investment Opportunities". Rail Ignacio Guastavino, Ambassador of the Argentine Republic was Chief Guest.

Rail Ignacio Guastavino, Ambassador of the Argentine Republic Elaborated in detail about Trade Investment opportunities in Argentina. 

There is huge demand of Bicycles in Argentina and all are is Imported from China but negligible from India. Geographically size of Argentina is same with India. Previously India was exporting huge quantity of bicycle parts but due to cheap Chinese goods Indian industry lost its ground.

There is also huge demand of pine plywood as India is manufacturing pine plywood in very good quality.

The organisers requested to Government of Argentina to reduce the import duty on Indian goods so that the Indian industry gets confidence in investing in Argentina. 

The chieg guest invited delegation of PHD Chamber to visit Argentina and avail the unlimited opportunities.

Raghvir Singh Sohal President Ludhiana Plywood Manufacturers Association, Satnam Singh Makkar President Dhandari Industrial Welfare Association and Gurmeet Singh Kular Chairman PHD Chamber were among those who attended the session.
