Ludhiana, September 8, 2016: Spreading the message of peace and unity among mankind a cyclist from Solapur, Maharashtra Dhondi Ram met the Mayor Harcharan Singh Gohalwaria on Thursday. The Mayor honoured him for his great work.

He is peddling on his bycycle throughout India with a message that there should be peace in the country and people belonging to all communities should live in harmony. He is also peddling with another message of curbing the road accidents. He is asking people to drive their vehicles at low speed to avoid road accidents.

At the age of 50 Dhondi Ram has peddled almost 10,000 KMS while covering the states like Maharashtra, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal and Punjab and now he will move towards Uttrakhand and other states.

Dhondi Ram said he has visited many cities such as Delhi, Ambala, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Shimla, Solan, Anandpur Sahib, Manali, Leh Laddakh, Srinagar, Gurdaspur and Tanda Ghuman with a message that people should live in peace and harmony and there should be control over speed of vehicles so that less people should die in road accidents.

The Mayor Harcharan Singh Gohalwaria said that effort of this cyclist from Maharashtra is appreciable and more such people are required in this country who can spread the message of peace and unity in the country. He said people should listen to him and do something for the betterment of society only then this country can rise.
