PCTE Group of Institutes starts with Rawar

Ludhiana, January 21, 2018: The MBA first year students of PCTE Group of Institutes started with their first Rawar activity related to Corporate social responsibility where the students were given a task of collecting articles like cloths, stationery, hygiene products, dry ration etc. These items will be further distributed to the NGO’s, needy people, orphanage etc. Rawar constitutes weekly activities for marketing management course lasting for 5 weeks in which teams competes with each other and the students are graded on the basis of their performance. The activities are designed keeping in mind the various skills which will help the students in their future career endeavors. Some of the activities included in RAWAR are related to merchandise designing, selling, market research, advertising etc. Dr. Gautum Bansal, Director, PCTE Group of Institutes said that the students performed tremendously well in their first activity, the enthusiasm of the students was great and he is sure that the same spirit will continue in all future tasks as well. He further added by saying that PCTE has always emphasized in providing practical exposure to the students to familiarize them with the working style of the outer world. Dr. KNS Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of institutes said that the students performed the activity with full zeal which showed the desire of the students to learn, which will further help them in their future.
