Ludhiana, October 8, 2015: PCTE Festaweek entered its second day of festival. Day took off with Indian Group Dance, Solo Song and finals of JAM, Dumb Charades and Poster Making competition of Koshish-Intra College competition of PCTE Group. It was much more than a competitive forum for the young guns of PCTE to display their artistic skills, intellectual abilities, amazing logical views points. It is just coming together of thoughts, skills, ideas, team work, understanding, co-ordination, and yes of course it is also celebrating success and taking a defeat in good spirits. Students presented rich culture of Indian folk and Western folk dances such as Gujarati dance, Rajasthani dance, Punjabi Gidha, Luddi, Bamboo dance, Laavani, Maharashtra dance and many other unique dance forms from different parts of the country.
Most of the events concluded with their final results today with PICTO, Dumb Charades, JAM Competitions etc. declaring the winners. The Senior Wing had MBA(IB)-2B, B.Pharma 3 and MBA-1C as winners in the competitions respectively. On the other hand, BHMCT-1 stood first and BCA-2B second in PICTO while the results of JAM declared ATHM-1 as the winners and BHMCT-2 and B.COM-2B as first and second runner ups respectively.
Final attraction of the day was fashion show in which various teams  participated and about 200 students walked on the ramp of PCTE. Students came up with some of the best fashion styles, trends and clothes in the field of fashion. Event was enlightened by glamour and professional catwalk of PCTE students. The overall theme of the Festaweek is “Halloween”.
Dr. K. N. S. Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes said that such festival helps the students in developing team spirit, cultural brotherhood and leadership skills. These skills will help the students to compete in highly competitive environment. While addressing the students He said that it isn’t about wining or loosing, it’s about participating and cherishing those everlasting memories. He wished best of luck to all the teams for the festival.
