Ludhiana, August 3, 2018: Rashtriya Hindu Manch (Punjab) president Pawan Sharma has written a letter to the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, demanding to deport illegal intruders from the country.
Sharma wrote in the letter that he had learnt from the dailies that crores of Bangladesh Nationals were residing in India in an illegal manner, which was a matter of concern. He said it had been learnt from the media that as per NCR (National Citizen Register) there were about 40 lakh illegal intruders residing in Assam alone. It is feared that lakhs and crores of Bangladesh Nationals and people belonging to Rohingya community were residing in massive numbers in the states of Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Punjab and J&K.
In this connection, Sharma while making a request to the Union Home Minister said that firstly, the right to vote be snatched from these illegal intruders so that these people could not be able to use their franchise. At the same time, the facilities being given to these illegal intruders should be stopped with immediate effect.
He also demanded that in view of national security a central agency should keep a strict vigil on these illegal intruders so that nobody should make a conspiracy to disunite the nation.
At the end, Sharma demanded that NRC report should also be prepared for Punjab and J&K on the pattern of Assam so that people residing illegally should be identified because Punjab and J&K were the Border States and it was responsibility of the government to ensure complete security of these two Border States.
