Pawan Dewan condemns attack on US Gurdwara

Ludhiana, August 7: The Ludhiana District Congress Committee president Pawan Dewan today condemned the racial attack on a Gurdwara in the United States and expressed heartfelt condolences with the bereaved families.

In a statement issued here today, he said, it was quite tragic and unfortunate that the members of the Sikh community, who are peace loving and believe in serving the humanity, had become the target of the hate crime.

Dewan appealed to Government of India to take up the matter with the US government at urgent priority to restore the confidence of the Indians, particularlythe  Sikhs staying in the US.

Prominent among those present included Sunny Kainth, Gursimran Singh Mand, Gurjot Singh, Manjit Singh, Bhupinder Singh Grewal, Maninderpal Singh Titu, Gurdeep Singh Soni, Amandeep Singh Kainth, Manmohan Valia, BM Kalia and Paras Puri.
