Ludhiana, January 12, 2015: The power lifting player of Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Sirtaj Singh from the College of Agriculture won Bronze Medal in 120+ weight category by lifting total weight of 700 Kg. He won the medal during All India Inter-Varsity Weight Lifting, Power Lifting (M&W), Best Physique (M) Championship organized by Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar at Sri Sai Group of Institute, Pathankot from January 6-9, 2015.
Dr Ravinder Kaur Dhaliwal, Director Students’ Welfare, PAU congratulated and lauded the achievement of PAU student. She exhorted him to touch more heights in sports apart from maintaining the academic standards.
