Ludhiana, February 19, 2015: The Directorate of Extension Education of the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) will conduct two trainings for farm women, rural youth and IPM (integrated pest management) scouts.

Giving details, Dr R.S.Sidhu, Director of Extension Education said that a training course on “Judicious Use of Resources with Special Reference to Crop Diversification” will be organized on February 23 for IPM scouts, working as a part of PAU Kheti Doots. The course aims at educating the trainees regarding transfer of technology in agriculture, he added. Another training course on “Innovative Techniques in Planting” will be hosted from February 23-27 for farm women and rural youth, he informed.
