Ludhiana, August 12, 2016: A monthly training camp of Seed Producers and Nursery Growers Association (SAPNA) was held at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) under the aegis of Directorate of Extension Education, PAU.
Interacting with the members of SAPNA, Dr R.S. Sidhu, Director of Extension Education, PAU, exhorted them to remain in touch with the University experts for technical expertise and guidance.
Dr T.S. Dhillon, Director (Seeds), dwelt on strengthening of PAU seed production.
Dr T.S. Riar, Coordinator of SAPNA, provided useful tips for cooperative farming.
Dr A.S. Dhatt, Head, Vegetable Science, told about the cultivation of bulb crops like garlic and onion.
Dr Amarjit Kaur, Head, Food Processing, apprised the members of production of vegetables for processing industries.
Mr PPS Pangli, President of SAPNA, proposed the vote of thanks.
