PAU Holds Campaign On Eradication Of Social Evils

Ludhiana, March 31, 2016: The Department of Extension Education, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) organized a campaign on eradication of social evils in the village Boparai Kalan of Ludhiana district. The students of B.Sc Agriculture along with the villagers stressed upon the eradication of different social evils like female foeticide, dowry, drug menace, etc. The campaign also laid emphasis on environment protection and cleanliness of surroundings.
Dr Jaswinder Singh Bhalla, Head, Department of Extension Education, urged the villagers to shun all the social vices and lead a disciplined life.
Dr Vipan Kumar Rampal and Dr Lavleesh Garg also guided the students and the villagers during the campaign.
