PAU CONDUCTS EXPOSURE VISIT FOR SCHOOL STUDENTS

Ludhiana, September 12, 2016: The Directorate of Extension Education, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) conducted an exposure visit for the students of Victoria Public School, Lehra.

The Coordinator, Dr T.S. Riar said that the students visited beekeeping unit, mushroom farm, vegetable research farm, new orchard, biogas unit, water resources museum and crops museum at PAU. The experts informed the visiting students about beekeeping and mushroom cultivation as profitable ventures, scope of vegetable and fruit cultivation in Punjab, water issues, and cultivation of different crops. Mr Ravinder Bhalooria also coordinated the visit of the students.
