Patiala/Punjab News- Harsimrat Kaur Badal hails Derewala Jewellery for Punjab initiative

Patiala, October 4, 2013: Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Member of Parliament, appreciated Derewala Jewellery Industries ltd., India’s one of the largest jewellery makers, for the revival of traditional Punjabi jewellery craft.

Badal assured the group of full support in this regard. The jewellery group has adopted talented jewellery craftsmen from the State and empowering them through financial, technological and marketing support.   

Badal visited the crafts exhibition at The Baradari Palace here today. She spent a good amount of time with the Corporate Head of Derewala, Sanjay Kapur, and assured him of further possibilities of reviving the lost art of jewellery making.

Derewala Jewellery Industries Ltd is participating in the two-day seminar-cum-workshop is organised by the Punjab Heritage & Tourism Promotion Board.
