Pasta Day being organised at GGNIMT, Ludhiana.
Ludhiana, October 9, 2015: ‘Pasta Day’ was organised by the Department of Hotel Management of Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT), Civil Lines . The event was managed by the students of B.Sc Hotel Management and Catering Technology (third semester).
Amandeep Singh, Daljeet Singh, Arshdeep Singh, Jaskirat Singh, Jaswant Singh and Harsimranjot Singh were the star students for the event. They prepared sumptuous pasta in red and white sauce.They put up the stall with Live Counter in the college campus to cater to the college crowd. The students with their zeal and hard work, were able to collect more than six thousand rupees in just no time. An over whelming response was received by the students of other departments and teachers of the college.
Prof Manjit Singh Chhabra, Co-ordinator, GGNIMT congratulated the department for putting a great show. While talking to the media he said that such practical demonstrations of live cooking and selling gave the budding chefs the right exposure for their bright career start .
Principal Dr. P. S Khattra congratulated the students for displaying their excellence.
