Paritavaranmitra Campaign by SCOPE at GND University College

Jalandhar, November 14, 2014: SCOPE has organised ‘Pariyavaranmitra Campaign’ under the guidance of principal Dr.J.S Randhawa and the president of SCOPE, Vishal Sharma(Assistant Professor GNDU College)  at GND University college ,Jalandhar.

‘SCOPE’ is an organisation which is founded by Vishal Sharma for making  tomorrow green and clean. In the beginning Shweta(Assistant Professor GNDU College, Jalandhar) Sharma and other members of organizing committee presented floral welcomed to the principal Dr. J.S Randhawa. Vishal Sharma enlightened the audience about the motives and objectives of his community ‘SCOPE’. He said that the aim of the community is to make the environment clean and green. The principal congratulated Vishal Sharma and students for taking such a wonderful initiative.  He also conveyed the message that every individual should take responsibility to remove pollution from our country.

 The hallmark of the event is ‘Signature Campaign’ in which everyone presented on the occasion took a pledge after signing it. Different events like Enviro quiz, Documentary, slogan writing, caption contest, painting, zero waste more wealth, making bird hut, flower show exhibition and some cultural events like singing and event of dance were also held.

B.B.A students presented a mime on current environmental challenges. Sunil Bhagat a        presented  a dance performance. 

A literary exhibition was also organised to share literature regarding environmental challenges and their solutions. The motive of the exhibition is to make others realise the need of the hour to protect the environment. In the end Hardeep Kaur (Assistant Professor)  presented a vote of thanks to each and every person involved in the organizing committee and especially Dr. Jaspal Singh Randhawa principal GNDU College for giving an opportunity to organise such an inspirational event. In the end principal Dr. J.S Randhawa appreciated  and congratulated the organising committee members and wish them success ahead.
