Panjab University’s iconic South Indian Coffee House

Chandigarh, June 24, 2019: Panjab University’s iconic South Indian Coffee House, existing since 1975 at the Student Centre which used to be a favourite hangout for one and all, will witness a change of flavour because its owner does not want a further extension on his agreement with the Panjab University. Keeping in view the nostalgic emotional connect for old and new alike, Prof.Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh is making sure that necessary steps are being taken to provide quintessential services by way of opening another eatery at the same place. At the same time, talks are in process with the owner of the Coffee House, in case he agrees to continue the same. The university officials are working hard to ensure that an iconic place survives, even if it is in a new avtaar!
