PUNJAB DEPUTY CHIEF MINISTER SUKHBIR SINGH BADAL PRESENTING A TRACTOR TO EASTERN PUNJAB CHIEF MINISTER SHAHBAZ SHARIF TO SHOWCASE THE ADVANCED AGRICULTURE TECHNOLOGY OF TRACTORS MANUFACTURED IN PUNJAB THAT WERE BEING EXPORTED TO MORE THAN 65 COUNTRIES ON TUESDAY.
Lahore/Chandigarh, November 6, 2012: The Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal today presented the keys of a tractor to Eastern Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
Speaking on the occasion Badal said that this humble gift from people of Punjab was symbolic of their love and affection for the agriculture based people of Pakistani Punjab and show their resolve to help Pakistan by providing latest know-how in agriculture research.
He said that Punjab was presently exporting tractors to more than 65 countries and tractor industry in Punjab has excelled due to latest and economic sophisticated engineering marvel. He said that Punjab could also export tractors to Pakistan and these tractors would be much cheaper than those being imported by Pakistan from other countries.
Thanking Deputy Chief Minister for his gracious gift, Shahbaz Sharif said that both countries would have to work collectively to meet the challenges of 21st century.
