Ludhiana, December 17, 2012: Four quarter final matches were played in the PAIW Corporate Cricket Tournament here today.
Centax Fabrics, Sacred Heart (Staff), Allahabad Bank and Parekh Group
have reached to semi-finals.
The first match was played between Centax Fabrics and Dossil Fashions. The fomer won the match by 7 wickets. Dossil Fashions won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 70 runs in 10 over, with help of 15 runs scored by Satta. Batting second Centax Fabrics won the match by 7 wickets. Amir and Davinder played brilliantly and scored 23 runs each. Man of the match: Davinder (Centax Fabrics).
Likewise, second match was played between the teams of Sacred Heart (Staff) and Platinum City. Sacred Heart (Staff) won the match by 15 runs. In the beginning, Platinum City won the toss and elected to bowl first. Sacred Heart
(Staff) scored 77 runs in 10 overs, with help of 29 runs scored by Pahwa and 23 runs scored by Sahib. Batting second Platinum City managed to score 62 runs in 10 over with help of 14 runs scored by Saurabh. Man of the match: Sahib (Sacred Heart (Staff).
Third match was played between Monte Carlo and Allahabad Bank. The latter won the match by 30 runs. In the beginning, Allahabad Bank won the toss and elected to Bat first and scored 78 runs in 10 over, with help of 18 runs scored by Raman. Batting second Monte Carlo managed to score 48 runs in 10 over. Man of the match: Aseem Rathi (Allahabad Bank).
Fourth match was played between Parekh Group and Connect. The former won the match by 9 wickets. In the beginning, Parekh Group won the toss and elected to bowl first. Connect scored 53 runs in 10 over, with help of 13 runs scored by Karan. Batting second Parekh Group won the match by 9 wickets with the help of 31 scored by Bittu. Man of the match: Bittu (Parekh Group).
Men of the matches were awarded with a trophy from Punjab Agro Implements
