Pacific Mall, Dehradun organises cultural program for kids to celebrate Children’s Day

Dehradun, November 15, 2019: In a heart-warming gesture, the renowned Pacific Group will include 12 paintings made by children for their upcoming annual Calendar. The paintings were selected from the painting competition organised by Pacific Mall, Dehradun as part of their Children’s day celebration on Thursday. More than 500 children participated in the competition. Apart from the painting competition, the celebration also included street play, poetry and cultural dance by the children. Mr.Sudhir Nautiyal, Director of Industries, Uttarakhand government was the chief guest of the event. Speaking about the event, Mr.Abhishek Bansal, Executive Director, Pacific Group said, “On this occasion, we would like to start with extending our respect to India’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru, on whose birth anniversary we celebrate Children’s Day. Pandit Ji once rightfully said that Children of today will make India of tomorrow. It gives immense pleasure whenever we do something for the children because they are the biggest investment. A small investment in them today will yield much bigger results tomorrow. We wish all the children who participated today in the painting competition a bright future ahead. I would also like to congratulate the Pacific Mall, Dehradun for organizing such a wonderful event.
