The overall trophy for 16th Annual Athletic Meet won by BBA 2B

LUDHIANA, March 2, 2019: The sports ground of PCTE Group of Institutes was filled with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere, as the students and faculty celebrated its final day of the 16th Annual Athletic Meet. The entire atmosphere reverberated with the echoes of applause of the ebullient and enthusiastic athletes where the overall Trophy of Athletic Meet 2019 was won by BBA 2B, Manmeet Singh from BCA 3 was declared the Best Athlete Award in boys category, Gurjot Kaur from BioTec 1st Year was declared the Best Athlete Award in girls category In Shot Put Finals (Women) the first position was bagged by Simranjeet Kaur from BBA 3A, second position was bagged by Shimani from Bio Tec 1st Year and the third position was bagged by Choki from ATHM 2nd Year. In Long Jump (Women) the first position was bagged by Gurjot Kaur from Bio Tec 1st Year, the second position was bagged by Passang from ATHM 2nd Year and the third position was bagged by Tatenda Chic from ATHM 2nd Year. In Long Jump (Men) Manmeet Singh from BCA 2B bagged the first position, the second position was bagged by Jatin from MBA 2B and the third position was bagged by Punnet Pal Singh from BBA 2B. In High Jump (Men) the first position was bagged by Jagjit from B Sc. Agriculture 2nd Year, the second position was bagged by Jatin from MBA 2B, and the third position was bagged by Raphel & Amit from BAJMC & BBA 1B. In Triple Jump (Men) the first position was bagged by Manmeet Singh from BCA 3, the second position was bagged by Jatin from MBA 2B and the third position was bagged by Jagjit from B Sc. Agriculture 2nd Year. In 4*400 meters relay the first position was bagged by BBA 2B followed by BCA 2A who bagged the second position and BCOM 2nd Year bagged the third position. In Tug of War (Women) the first position was bagged by MLS 2nd and 3rd Year, the second position was bagged by BBA 2B and the third position was bagged by B Pharmacy 2nd Year, In Tug of War (Men) the first position was bagged by BBA 2B, the second position was bagged by BBA1B and the third position was bagged by BHMCT 4th Year. In 100 meters (Women) the first position was bagged by Glorious from MLS 2nd Year, the second position was bagged by Kamara Sewa from BBA 1B and the third position was bagged by Agnes from BBA 1B. In 100 meters ( Men) the first position was bagged by Manmeet Singh from BCA 3, the second position was bagged by Supreet Singh from BBA 1B an dthe third position was bagged by Raghav from BCOM 2nd Year. Mr. Amitej Singh, Head of Department said that through such events, we help our students learn values of life which get imbibed into their thinking, thus helping them succeed in all walks of life. It gives me immense pleasure to see all the students participating in the event in large numbers. Dr. K.N.S.
