Oriental Insurance Company Conducts an Essay Writing and Declamation Contest at RGC

Ludhiana, November 2, 2017: To prepare the students to face the challenges of corruption an Essay Writing and Declamation Contest was organized by Tagore Literary Society, Ramgarhia Girls College, Miller Ganj, Ludhiana in association with Oriental Insurance Company Limited today.
The motto of the same was to educate students at large about corruption related practices and also educating them how to report about it.
Principal Dr.Inderjit Kaur accompanied by faculty of English Department gave floral welcome to S.Jaswinder Singh, Senior Division Manager, Mr.Sanjeev Kumar, Senior Branch Manager, Mr. Yash Paul, Senior Branch Manager and Mr.Ranjit Singh Behl, Administrative Officer. Prof. Tajinder Kaur, Head, Department of English, administered an oath to students to work with integrity, teaching at least five people and working to protect oneself from corruption and to enhance dignity of human life. 20 students expressed their ideas on “How to Make India Corruption Free”.

On this occasion Principal Dr. Inderjit Kaur, appreciated the efforts of Oriental Insurance Company Limited for making students aware about Corruption. To encourage the students, she quoted the words of eminent scientist Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam to use the bond of love that students share with their fathers’ makes homes corruption free.
S. Ranjodh Singh, President, Ramgarhia Educational Council marked his presence by adding that we all need to fight hard battle to improve our society. The ignited mind of the youth is the most powerful resource on the earth, under the earth and above the earth. S. Jaswinder Singh and Mr. Sanjeev Kumar encouraged students by saying that one should fight the hardest battle of Corruption and not stop until one arrives at the goal. Jasnoor Kaur, Simran Kaur and Harsimran Kaur stood I,II,III in Essay Writing Contest whereas Inderpreet ,Varsha Pareek and Sunidhi secured I,II,III positions in Declamation Contest .The occasion came to its end with prize distribution to the winners.
