Some important trends noticed were Organic Cotton ala Organic Fruits and Vegetables. Keebee Organics by Vandana showcased Organic T-Shirts and other clothes for the newly born to the two years old. Only 1 per cent of Cotton is grown organically informs Vandana, the founder of Kebee Organics a startup.

India is one of the largest producer of Organic Cotton. But, we have least consumers. These kind of organic clothes which until now were available abroad are now available locally says Vandana. The collection includes Fullbody Suit, Onesic, Kurta Sets, Lehenga Sets, New Born basics. The clothes are sold online.

She have invested Rs 10 lakh. She sold more than 150 units so far. There is a lot of potential for the market she says.

The benefits of Organic clothes are organic materials. The crops are not treated with pesticides, insecticides, herbicides and Genetically Modified Organisms. These toxins are harmful for farmers and workers, us as consumers, and entire wildlife eco-systems, says Vandana

A Kid's Fashion show is also planned. The games zone and adventure sports arena will captive the visitors. Cartoon Characters will perform live. Many competitions like Painting, Singing, Dancing, Magic Show and Puppet Shows will also be held.

The Culinary Carnival will enage kids with innovative activities such as Cupcake Wars where kids will beautifully decorate a cupcake choosing from an array of toppings. In Sizzling Sandwiches kids will create the perfect sandwich from a selection of breads, fillings and spreads.

In an activity called "Child-Run The Kitchen", they will showcase their culinary skills and creativity in a timed challenge. In an another activity "Summer Salad Bonanza" kids of 9 to 16 years will make the tastiest summer salad.

The event is organised by Hitex in association with Eenadu, Bombay Waltz, Grolier, Kushi Tv, Fru2go, Kids Age, Green Gold and Early Childhood Association.
