Mansa/Chandigarh, August 25: Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Member Parliament from Bathinda, today slamming the  corrupt Congress led UPA Government over controversy on the issue of ‘Coal Blocks Allocation’, said that it was the result of rampant corruption right under the nose of Congress led UPA government that the session has been stalled for THE entire week.

 

Badal, who was here to review the status of ongoing projects under ‘Nanhi Chaan’-a campaign against social menaces, said that Congress has been brought to book in the session for scams, which took place during last few years but now the latest is Coal Blocks Allocations (CBA). She said congress has no answer in this regard instead of misguiding the nation by giving false statements. She said that there was a long series of corruption cases, which have been unfolded every months, whether it was 2G Scam or Coal Blocks Allocation controversy.

Answering a query, Badal said that Congress led UPA Government was trying its level best to save its image from constant over CBA and the Union Ministers were repeatedly claiming that there was no loss due to CBA, which are sheer misleading statements.   Badal also demanded a fair inquiry and necessary action over the issue and said that Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh should clear the position regarding CBA besides initiating war level steps on national level for the welfare of common masses. She said that Congress remained answerless in the session on the issue of inflation, corruption cases and issues pertaining to general public.  

Badal also visited the villages Joga and Jhunir, where medical check-up camps were organized under Nanhi Chaan campaign. She also assured the people residing in remote areas of the district that the SAD-BJP government is committed to provide better health facilities besides upgraded educational infrastructure to uplift their living standard.

Welcoming and congratulating team of Punjabi Doctors from United States, Badal said that she was pleased to know that in future more Punjabi doctors from America would come to our state for providing free treatment to the poverty stricken people.  She said that all the medicines would be given free of cost and Civil Surgeon has been directed to arrange ultrasound mobile van at the camp site.

Prominent amongst those were present on the occasion included Member Parliament Balwinder singh Bhundarh, MLA Mansa Prem Mittal, Budhlada MLA Chattin Singh Samao and Deputy Commissioner Amit Dhaka.
