OPINION: TO MPs- For God’s sake stop befooling the public

The Parliament failed to transact any business for the fourth day on 27th November, 2012, despite government's efforts to break the logjam over FDI through an all-party meeting. Both Houses witnessed the repeat of the scenes that have marred the Winter Session ever since it began on November 22. Monsoon session was also washed out by the people’s representatives.

Now the question is: whatthe parliament is for? Why we choose our representatives for the august house? What for the democracy, if government for the people, by the people and of the people is not serious in discussion on the floor of the house?

Almost every Indian, who watches the drama of MPs during the Parliament sessions, wants the answer.  For God’s sake stop befooling the public.
