Ludhiana, December 21, 2012: UCO Bank launched its 41st Zonal Office here in a glittering customer meet, which was presided over by B Venkata Ramana, General Manager, Circle Head, Circle Office, Chandigarh.
On this occasion, the General Manager apprised the gathering that with the increase in number of branches in the circle and to have effective control over the branches, a new zone has been carved out of the existing zone Chandigarh and Jalandhar. The zone shall have 43 branches situated in seven districts namely Ludhiana, Moga, Muktsar, Fazilka, Bathinda, Ferozepur and Faridkot.
The general manager also assured that more branches would be opened in the near future to look after the needs and requirements of the customers.
The new zonal manager RK Kaul has assured the customers that with the opening of zonal office here, there would be speedy disposal of credit proposals and the bank would increase its exposure to agriculture, SME, SSI, retail and priority sector.
