Ludhiana, January 25, 2019: One lakh plus people in love with their land, water, Punjab and life are gathering with the sole purpose of prayers and pledge to restore Buddha Dariya to its pristine glory This historic, one of its kind, congregation by christened “Aan Milo Dariyao” is taking place on 27th of January at Tajpur Road near the sewerage treatment plant of Jamalpur. It shall be inaugurated by Uday Singh Ji, the Namdhari Satguru who initiated the cleanliness drive. Ustad Johar Ali Khan the world famous violin exponent would then engage the audience with his recitals. Starting with the Aasa raga he would then perform some morning ragas to give the programme a divine start. Jaswant Singh Zafar, the convener, has appealed to Punjabis worldwide to mark this occasion with silent prayers and pledge, between 8 am - 8.30 am for the restoration of the Buddha Dariya to its pristine glory. Ragi Balwant Singh shall then present shastriya sangeet. Then the artistes of Jeevey Punjab , dhadi Rachhpal Singh Pamal, Manraj Patar, Surinder Shinda, Harbhajan Mann, Beer Singh, Gill Hardeep, Ranjit Bawa would enthrall the audience. The Shromani Dramatist Dr Kewal Dhaliwal shall then enact the play, "Buddha Dariya". There shall be a special presentation by the team of Tejwant Kittu, Music Director.
The mammoth gathering shall be addressed by many intellectual and eminent personalities, prominent among them being - former Jathedar of Kesgarh Sahib professor Manjit Singh, the Chairman of Punjab Arts Council and celebrated poet Dr Surjit Patar, prominent thinker Amarjeet Singh Grewal, former Vice Chancellor Dr S P Singh Professor Balkar Singh Director World Punjabi Centre, member National Green Tribune Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal.

Students, teachers, principals and administrators from various schools and colleges shall participate in the congregation to express their solidarity.
There shall also be an art and painting exhibition by students.

Another feature that promises to keep the audience engaged would be a Kavi Darbar in which eminent poets like Sukhwinder Amrit, Gurbhajan Gill, Tarlochan Lochi Aman C Singh, Surendra Jaipal and Charanjit Brar would participate. This shall be anchored by doctor Surjeet Singh the General Secretary of Punjabi Sahitya Academy.

People from a cross section of society from world over are converging at Tajpur Road.

The lunch is being served by the Namdhari fraternity.

The parking area shall be approximately 400m away from the venue near the central jail.

• The venue of congregation must not be littered with waste material.

• All participants are one among equals and then should expect a VIP treatment
