Ferozepur, January 17, 2013: One unidentified person died with the explosion of a bomb at the shop of a scrap dealer in Ferozepur Cantt area near the office of CIA staff.
Immediately on coming to know of the incident, police, Army and civil administration officers reached on the spot to take stock of the situation.
Vihbhore Sharma, DSP (HQ), Ferozepur apprised the deputy commissioner that investigation is being carried by police and Army officials and to bomb defusing team has also reached.
He further informed that one person has died in this incident at the time of separation of certain parts from the body. The deceased is still to be identified.
Deputy Commissioner appealed to the people to maintain peace in the area and cooperate with the police.
The police are also getting the help of Army in the investigation, he added.
