One arrested under NDPS Act

Ferozepur, September 16, 2012: During the routine patrolling for checking suspected persons and vehicles, the Ferozepur City police station has arrested one person on alleged recovery of smack from him and booked under NDPS Act.

Gurdip Singh, SHO informed that on Saturday evening, during the ‘naka’ near the grain market in Ferozepur City , the police team headed by ASI Baldev Singh, on searching one person recovered 6.990 gm smack.  On preliminary investigation, the person allegedly arrested with smack was identified as Lalit alias Lali resident of new Janta Preet Nagar, Ferozepur City .
