Ferozepur, March 20, 2013: One persons has been arrested with stolen motorcycle without any registration number and booked under sections 379 and 411 IPC at Mallwanwala police station while the two persons sitting on the rear seat managed to escape.
Giving the detailed information, Baldev Singh, SI informed that police team has put up a nakabadi near Mallanwala bus stand, to check the vehicles of suspicious nature persons.
During the checking operation, the police party signalled to stop one motorcycle boarding three persons, without registration number, on suspicion and out of three one was arrested while two managed to escape.
On further investigation of proper registration papers of the motorcycle, they cold not produce and admitted having stolen the motorcycle Hero Honda CD Deluxe make.
The police further informed that the arrested persons was identified as Sandeep Singh alias Sunny son of Wilson and disclosed the names of his two other associates as George of Basti Chandewali and Ravi of Basti Bhattian Wali.
The police after arresting the one person and seizing the motorcycle have started further proceedings in the matter, he added.
