NUMBER OF POLLING STATIONS INCREASES IN DISTRICT LUDHIANA

ECI APPROVES DEO’S PROPOSAL
Ludhiana, October 26, 2017: Total number of polling stations in district Ludhiana has been increased from 2720 to 2765. Election Commission of India have approved the proposal sent by District Election Office, Ludhiana in this regard.

While divulging the details, Mr.Pardeep Kumar Agrawal District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner said that after the rationalization of polling stations, total number of polling stations in Khanna (57) is 182, Samrala is 209, Sahnewal (59) increased to 259 from 246, Ludhiana East (60) increased to 197 from 193, Ludhiana South (61) increased to 153 from 152, Atam Nagar (62) is 168, Ludhiana Central (63) increased to 147 from 144, Ludhiana West (64) increased to 194 from 193, Ludhiana North (65) increased to 182 from 178. Gill (66) increased to 296 from 280, Payal (67) is 197, Dakha (68) increased to 219 from 218, Raikot (69) increased to 172 from 171 and in Jagraon (70) increased to 190 from 189.
