Jalandhar, May 30, 2019: The day 4 of 7 day NSS camp organized by Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar took place in college campus with various fun and learning activities for NSS volunteers.

The day begun with Healthy & Nutritious Cooking Skills organized by Ms Monika Anand from Department of Home Science where she taught students about Healthy eating in a right way at right time in right quantity and gave them the demo of dishes which could be cooked without deep frying techniques and which were absolutely healthy followed by dance workshop conducted by Ms Mickey Verma from Department of Dance where she taught the NSS Volunteers about stretching the body to make it active and basic aerobic skills and few contemporary dance steps which could be performed on any song.

Post lunch, Acting & Mimicry workshop was organized by Mr. Gurpreet from Department of Theatre. The students learned about the theatrical activities and basic strategies for acting in the workshop.

Principal Dr Sucharita Sharma was joyful on seeing the successful outcomes of camp where NSS volunteers were learning and enjoying the workshops and faculty members were leaving no stones unturned to make students enthusiastic and actively participate in all the workshops.

She added that such camps develop leadership skills, team spirit and make them empathetic towards others. Such camps lead to make students more humane and a better citizen.
