North West Group, Moga signs one of the biggest MOUs with Australian Institute

Ludhiana, May 22, 2014: North West Group of Institutions & IPM Australia which is one of the leading Australian Institute specialised in Project Management signed one of the biggest MOUs in the country for unique pathway programme.

IPM Australia is partnering with 10 top Australian Universities which includes (Curtin University, University of South Australia, University of Canberra, University of Western Sydney, University of Tasmania, Flinders University, University of New England, University of Southern Queensland, Southern Cross University).

The MOU was signed by Lakhbir Singh Gill, Chairman, North West Group of Institutions and Ian McMahon, Managing Director, IPM Australia in presence of Tom Calder, Trade Commissioner, Govt. of Australia who was the Chief Guest on this occasion.

One of the top most scientists Dr. MSR Dev was also present during this occasion.

Lakhbir Singh Gill, Chairman, North West Group of Institutions, while speaking on this occasion said that this opportunity would provide the student of Malwa region to join same of the best bachelor programme in Australia for which they will study for 1 year in India & complete the rest of the 2 years in Australia, thus save upon a huge cost to the tune of Rs. 18 lacs.

Ian McMahon while speaking on the occasion emphasized that this pathway programme has been specially designed for the benefit of Indian Institute where they will complete one year at North West Group of Institutions and earn dual diplomas, one in Project Management & other in Business Management and move to the two year of the degree programme in any of the top 10 Australian University. He further expressed that his organization is excited and honoured to be partnering with North West Group of Institutions. Tom Calder, Trade Commissioner, Govt. of Australia while speaking on this occasion congratulated both the Institutes & emphasised that this agreement would help the student from programme any other part of country to get Australian Govt. recognized qualified in India and also shall prepare the student for moving to complete his degree programme in Australia.

Prabhpreet Singh Gill, Managing Director, North West Group of Institutions congratulated the faculty members and other staff of the Institute & highlighted that this was one of the biggest MOU being signed by IPM Institute with any Australian counterpart as top 10 Australian Universities have partnered in the unique programme.

Dr. N.K. Maheshwary, Director, North West Group of Institutions & mentors with IPM Australia said that the student of Punjab after completing their 10+2 can join this programme at North West Group of Institutions where they would be provided with a fully loaded Dell laptop which shall have world class resources including harvard business, text books, 90 multimedia lectures, video & text case studies, weblinks & Mentor support from Australia and India would help the student to earn dual diplomas at the end of one year. The student would get a confirmed admission in any of top 10 Australian Universities which are ranked in top 2% universities in the world & are placed better then IITs or IIMs. The total cost of this 1 year programme in India in Australian $12,950. This pathway would leave to a saving of atleast Rs. 18 lacs for the students who wishes to go to Australia.
