NO PERSONALITY TEST/INTERVIEW FOR RECRUITMENT OF CONSTABLES

Chandigarh, September 29, 2016: The Punjab Police has clarified that there will be no personality test/Interview that in the ongoing process of recruitment of 7359 constables (male & female) in District Police and Armed Police Cadre of State Police.
According to Chairman, Central Recruitment Board ( Male and Female Constables 2016 ), the selection of candidates will be done only on the basis of aggregate of marks given (i) as per the height of the candidates (ii) as per the marks obtained in the Class +2 examination. These directions have been issued by the O/o the Director General of Police, Punjab, Chandigarh, through Memo No. 10696/E-1(4), dated 26.09.2016.
