New Principal takes Charge at RGC

Ludhiana, February 1, 2016: It was a happy moment for the entire team of Ramgarhia Girls College when Dr Inderjit Kaur took over as the new Principal of the college. Dr Inderjit Kaur had served as an Associate Professor of Punjabi at the same college for 28 years and it was a proud moment for her to take over the charge as a Principal. The former Principal of the college, Dr (Mrs) Narinder Sandhu, President of Ramgarhia Educational Council, S. Ranjodh Singh and General Secretary, S. Jagtar Singh, congratulated her and gave her their best wishes. Dr Narinder Sandhu said that Dr Inderjit Kaur had always performed her duties diligently and that she hoped that she would leave no stone unturned in taking the college to another level of excellence. S. Ranjodh Singh averred that the college had been fortunate to have had able administrators like Mrs Harmit Kaur and Dr Narinder Sandhu at the helm of affairs who always strived to provide quality education to the students. He further said that he hoped that the college would progress by leaps and bounds under the stewarship of Dr Inderjit Kaur. S. Jagtar Singh said that throughout her tenure as an Assoc. Prof., Dr Inderjit Kaur had always endeavoured to put her best foot forward and he hoped the same from her during her tenure as Principal. Dr Inderjit Kaur expressed her happiness at being given the opportunity to serve the institution as a Principal. She said that she would make every possible effort to provide a positive direction to the college. She also added that it is a great coincidence that her better-half, Dr Kuldip Singh, Assoc. Prof., Senate and Syndicate member, P.U, is taking over the charge as Dean, Faculty of Design and Fine Arts at Panjab University today. On this occasion, Mrs Surinder Jaipal Kaur, Retd. Assoc. Prof. from Swami Ganga Giri Janta Girls College and Dr Sarabjeet Kaur, Dr Sukhpal, Mrs Gursharan, Mrs Simarjeet, and Mrs Jasbir from Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, Ldh, also marked their presence.
