New DUI takes over at PU

Chandigarh, May 1, 2018: Professor Shankarji Jha, Department of Sanskrit, Panjab University, Chandigarh has joined as Dean of University Instruction (DUI) on the forenoon of 1st May, 2018 as per the decision of the Syndicate. He has around 27 years of teaching and administrative experience in various positions at Panjab University, Chandigarh. Besides he has 6 years of Post-Graduate teaching experience (under agies of Govt.of India, Ministry of H.R.D.) at J.N.B. Adarsh Skt.College, Lagma, Darbhanga, Bihar. Prof.Jha has a 2 year teaching experience at K.S.D. Sanskrit University, Darbhanga, Bihar at undergraduate level.
Prof.Shankarji said that it is the practice of teaching, learning and research which takes University to greater heights and not by the towering buildings.
