CT University welcomes new students during Neophyte orientation program.

Ludhiana, August 2, 2019: A five days event ‘Neophyte’- an orientation programme for students and parents concluded on a high note at CT University.

Day one began with lamp lightening and concluded with a ‘happiness & wellbeing’ session followed by classes in various domains.
The purpose of this orientation was to bring the new students in a comfort zone, familiar about the campus and faculty with all basic details for academics and examination.

In the five days program, students attended guest lectures, seminars, workshops and various other fun filled activities. Additional Director, Dr Nitin Shankar Behl from Fortis Hospital gave a guest lecture on ‘World Hepatitis Day’ followed by Brahm Kumaris session on ‘Youth Empowerment’.

Students also had a healthy morning where Zumba session was taken by Hyper Dance Institute and various other activities by CTU students such as Mediation, Fashion Show, Bhangra, Salsa, etc.

Thereafter, all the domain based activities were done where students were given a departmental orientation like for cyber security, hands on mechanical workshop, 3D printing, clay modelling, dinning etiquettes, medical checkups, techniques of first aid etc.

A group from Chandigarh, Young Emerging Talent (YET) made the audience tap on their feet and leaving them with an emotional message regarding road safety.

Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor, during the final day of Neophyte said, “This is a new and blissful beginning. Each one has to make sure to execute their best and excel in their particular course. Together, we all can bring revolutions with the knowledge and practical skills.”

Manbir Singh, Managing Director wished good luck to the students for a new beginning.
